Yardman/Driver

Sparshatt Truck & Van Ltd is a Mercedes-Benz commercial dealership and has been established within Kent for over 45 years. Today we operate four successful sales and service sites across the county, employing over 240 staff.

Due to demand at our Dartford site we are now looking to recruit two Yardman/Drivers.  These roles are going to be part of ensuring a smooth and efficient operation and as such will be responsible for:

• Accurately signing vehicles in and out of the business
• Ensuring safe parking and storage in the car parks compounds
• Onsite vehicle movement
• Liaising with Service Reception and Workshop Controllers for keys and vehicles
• Returning vehicles back to the customers

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A valid HGV Class 1, PSV would be desirable. 
• Previous experience of working as an HGV Driver
• No more than 6 current points on license and no DR10s
• Understanding of driver regulations and laws
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Customer orientated
• Ability to use your own initiative
