  • Sparshatts of Kent has supported the Cycle Heroes 2017 charity bike ride to raise much needed funds for The British Liver Trust. Sparshatts provided the van to support the riders who braved sponsored cycling tour, riding 300km over 3 days from Ghent to Amsterdam.  Including last year’s ‘Kent to Ghent’ riding tour and other fund raising events, the riders have succeeded in raising a phenomenal £82,000 for various nominated charities, including The British Liver Trust. This year, four of the cyclists rode the the sponsored race in memory of Brett Baker: Julian Glasspole, Adrian Miles, David Maidman and Kevin Murton.  Brett sadly died last year after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis as a child and a progressive and incurable liver disease in his early twenties.  Brett was the son of Keith Baker, Truck Sales Executive at Sparshatts and the company were honoured to support raising money in Brett’s name.  You can find about more about the fund raising at the following link
