      ASDA Contract Performance

      Following our recent ASDA Contract Performance conference call on Friday 24 August 2020, we would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for the outstanding support in achieving our best ever results to date.

      • Across a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter fleet of 1,950 vehicles, there were as few as 5 pieces of outstanding service documents, all less than 2 weeks old.
      • In terms of the service compliance and planning, overdue services were down to 5 vehicles, 1 of which was VOR with the remaining 4 vehicles requiring a service reschedule due to an ASDA vehicle asset movement or store non-release. 
      • 353 vehicles were due a service within the next 3 weeks and every one of these vehicles had been planned in with a confirmed booking date.

      This performance could not have been achieved without the support and dedication of all the ASDA supporting Mercedes-Benz Van UK Network Partners. 

      It is a fantastic achievement which has not gone unnoticed by the ASDA team, at a time when they are currently reviewing their fleet strategy for 2021.  It couldn’t have come at a better time and our challenge now is to continue and maintain this industry leading level of service, which ASDA advised they have never seen before.

      Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to all your teams as we look forward to continued growth within the ASDA and Mercedes-Benz partnership.

    • Well done to the Dartford team for this amazing turnaround for our emergency services you are a credit to all that is good with the people in the UK and all at Sparshatt Truck and Van.

    • Sparshatt Truck & Van Garage is a huge Garage in Sittingbourne. I took a Friend of mine there today to pick up his repaired Van. He Originally took His Van to a repair centre in Aylesford in Maidstone, Kent. And they had charged him the Bill, the Van was still not Repaired. Sparshatt Truck & Van Garage are a Specialist in Repairing Vans, Lorries, and Trucks, like the front end of a Heavy Goods Vehicle. This Garage took two days to Repair my Friends Van and it was a Complicated Repair.

    • Hello Kevin, many thanks to your night crew last night who looked at our tanker GN63HFK. Clive and his team discovered a serious air leak from the valve block in the tankers foot valve box. Clive informed us immediately as this element is not a Mercedes responsibility. I was able to speak to Clive and asked him to investigate with our permission and authority. Clive and his team successfully repaired the issue. 

      This is exactly what we need from our key suppliers, timely information and a can do attitude to problems with our complex fleet. Clive’s actions ensured that we were able to run a full fuel fleet today which is currently seeing unprecedented demand for our services.  Many thanks again. I would like to add that this is not the first time recently that your team have work extremely hard for us on many issues, especially on the tanker side. Your whole service team have performed miracles in turning round faulty vehicles so that we can meet the current demand. We are very grateful for everyone’s efforts.

    • Great service, Mike and mo on service desk extremely helpful and informative nothing to much trouble, kept me updated throughout the repair of my camper even put me through to the mechanic to confirm various issue with my vehicle, so thank you guys for all yr help, the Dartford branch was manic so busy but they did all they could to make things go smoothly and get me on my way, I even got a cup cake happy days!!! I would recommend this branch hands down, friendly and helpful staff throughout. I wouldn’t take my sprinter anywhere else. Sparshatts Dartford 100% Thanks again👍

    • Excellent service, mark on the service team really made it all so easy for me. my van was book in for 8am friday morning .Thursday I finished early so I called Marc and asked if I could drop off now and take a courtesy van with me instead of coming Friday morning!!! He said yes no problem at all come when your are ready ,,wow so I did and my van was ready when they said I would be . Great service great staff
